The K-12 Team is seeking volunteers for in-person speaking opportunities for students from the Eden ROP program in Hayward, CA. Students in a medical program would like to chat with STEM professionals from the Berkeley Lab in the BioScience areas.
Career chats are a great opportunity for students to hear from the Berkeley Lab's STEM Community.
These High School students' interest in education paths and how Berkeley Lab staff arrived at their current positions. They would also like insight into a lab employee's day-to-day work.
There are several opportunities available:
- November 15th from 1:00 pm-2:30 pm (Eden ROP Center, 23616 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA)
- November 17th from 8:30 am-10:15 am (Tennyson High School, 27035 Whitman Ave, Hayward, CA)
- November 29th from 10:00 am-11:30 am (Eden ROP Center, 23616 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA)
