Background:
Charles Jackson is a Veteran and one of the first Black editors for a local TV station. He sadly passed from Covid in 2020. His wife, Kikiyo and his daughter were left without their patriarch which was some very foreign territory for this family. His daughter, Chidori, an amazing human being has kept sanity while caring for her two teenagers, as her mother has lost herself in the grief.
Chidori passed in September. Thankfully Kikiyo is still alive and in the home qualifying them for our Safe at Home program.
Rebuilding Together East Bay North is hoping to get the yard cleaned out, and will be providing a little extra support on removing items the family is ready to let go of.
