Berkeley Lab will have a booth at the 2026 Tri-Valley Innovation Fair, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
We’re looking for Lab ambassadors to volunteer on Saturday, April 18, to help set up and staff the Lab’s booth. Choose a time slot that works for you and join us for a day of innovation and fun. All employees are welcome to participate.
The Tri-Valley Innovation Fair is a free one-day event designed to connect everyone to the excitement of science, engineering, and technology. 70+ exhibitors will showcase the region’s diverse accomplishments and rich learning opportunities. Meet people who make innovation happen in local companies, schools, and community organizations. Interactive hands-on activities will be featured indoors and outside. The Lab’s participation is a valuable way to share with the local community more about who we are and what we do.
That's where you come in. As a volunteer, you will:
- Serve as an ambassador for Berkeley Lab and its scientific research,
- Help facilitate a kid-friendly hands-on activity,
- Share information on ways people can engage with the lab,
- Collect contact information for "Elements," Berkeley Lab's newsletter for members of the local community, and
- Field any questions we get from visitors to our booth
The event is free and open to the public from 10am-5pm.
