The CMD-IT/ACM Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference is the premier venue to acknowledge, promote and celebrate diversity in computing. The Tapia Conference brings together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, researchers, and professionals in computing from all backgrounds and ethnicities to:

• Celebrate the diversity that exists in computing
• Connect with others with common backgrounds, ethnicities, disabilities, and gender to create communities that extend beyond the conference
• Get advice from and make contacts with computing leaders in academia and industry
• Be inspired by great presentations and conversations with leaders with common backgrounds

The Tapia Conference brings together CMD-IT’s target communities: African Americans/Blacks, Native Americans/Indigenous People, Hispanics/Latinxs, and People with Disabilities.

• Thursday, 9/14, from 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
• Friday, 9/15, from 10:45 am - 3:00 pm

Please sign up for a booth shift below if you are approved by your supervisor to attend the Tapia conference:

• Wed, 9/13 from 5:30 - 9:30 pm (4 hrs) - normally the busiest shift w/high traffic
• Thursday, 9/14
• 10:30 am - 12:15 pm
• 1:45 pm - 3:30 pm
• 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
• Friday, 9/15
• 10:45 am - 12:45 pm
