Join us at the Berkeley Public School Fund’s 3rd Annual Community Block Party! We will have a table at the event and are looking for Lab ambassadors to join us on Saturday, April 27th, to help set up and run the Lab’s table.
The Community Block Party invites all of Berkeley to celebrate student joy and excellence. There will be live performances, artwork, and activities throughout the event that demonstrate how BUSD students are learning to thrive in school and in life. The Lab’s participation is a valuable way to share with the local community more about who we are and what we do.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Serve as an ambassador for Berkeley Lab and its scientific research,
- Help facilitate a kid-friendly hands-on activity,
- Share information on ways people can engage with the lab,
- Collect contact information for "Elements," Berkeley Lab's newsletter for members of the local community, and
- Field any questions we get from visitors to our table
