Project Details:
Rebuilding Together East Bay North (RTEBN) is looking for volunteers on Saturday, October 28th to help beautify an urban garden in West Berkeley. This project is in partnership with the City Of Berkeley, which donated the land to be used for the Urban Garden Plot. The project is aimed at supporting healthy nutrition, sustainability, beautification, and will serve as a local community gathering space to learn about producing healthy crops!
Tasks include digging, shoveling, raking, moving rocks, spreading gravel, hammering nails, installing fencing, setting fence posts, and other tasks related to installing the Urban Garden features. Skilled labor and the ability to work with hand tools are preferred, but not required. Once registered, we will follow up with more information regarding safety protocols.
