The ECERG in collaboration with the Government and Community Relations Office will be hosting a booth at the Berkeley farmers market each quarter, staffed by Berkeley Lab employees who can share insight on what makes Berkeley Lab tick and the many ways our research impacts society. Our first Farmer’s market event is schedule for Saturday, November 4th!
Carbon Capture and Storage is our inaugural topic. To kick off this first event, we are looking for more experts on the topic who can train non-experts on the basics, and/or employees who are excited to share their knowledge and start meaningful conversations with the public.
If you have any question about the event, please join us at our virtual info session on Thursday, October 26th, where we will brainstorm ideas on how to make this engaging. We will also discuss what the non-experts must read to be able to communicate the what/why/how of carbon capture.
