Help us celebrate Earth Month at the Oakland Zoo!
On each Saturday in April, the Zoo is hosting a series of themed events that celebrate the planet and highlight an essential aspect of climate change that affects us here in the Bay Area.
Berkeley Lab has been invited to join the April 29th event focused on "planting for pollinators." Visitors to the Lab's table will learn about research from the Joint Genome Institute and can engage in a hands-on activity that teaches them about the importance of pollinators by assembling a small pollinator kit consisting of a small compostable container, soil, and seeds that can be planted at home.
